  • Disc Herniation

May result in local symptoms or symptoms reaching around the trunk or down the lower extremity. New found numbness, tingling, or weakness may be present.

  • Sciatica

Sciatica symptoms can present with focal low back, pelvic, or hip pain. Sometimes lower extremity neural symptoms may present as well.

  • Sprains and Strains

Whether from one big trauma, or a cumulative exposure over time, sprains and strains are some of the most frequent injuries to the low back. These can create sharp focal pains superficially or very deep.

  • Degenerative Disc Disease

While not actually a disease, it commonly presents with recurring back pain episodes which improve with activity. Proper identification, conservative treatment, and exercise are often effective.
